September 9, 2016 - Brooklyn Brewery Special Release: Serpent. Serpent started off it's life as a strong Belgian golden ale. It
was then aged on Oliver's cider and perry lees in empty Four Roses
bourbon barrels for over a year before being bottle conditioned and aged
for
another year! The resulting beer is smooth and complex with a delightful funk - everything you could want from these master brewers.
Quantities will be limited, so Brusin' will begin selling bottles at 5:00
sharp. There will also be a tasting of a few other offerings from Brooklyn from 5
to 7 pm!

Asheville Brewing Company will release "Hott Fuzzz Peach Pepper Pale " on September 15, at 5 PM in conjunction with a 7 PM showing of 2007 cult film Hot Fuzz at the
Merrimon Avenue Theater. This draft only beer will be available starting
at 7 PM at both brewpubs.
