Flat Rock Cinema Continues Award Series

The "Award Series" Continues at The Flat Rock Cinema, 2700 Greenville Highway in Flat Rock NC, just outside Hendersonville. BIG EYES began Friday, UNBROKEN starts February 13th, SELMA starts February 20th, WHIPLASH starts February 27th, FOXCATCHER starts March 6th and AMERICAN SNIPER is scheduled for March 13th.

The Conema's Magnolia Concert Series presented by Morris Broadband is ready for the 2015 season. THE CARBURETORS will reunite to kick off the series on Sunday, March 8th.  A 7:30 PM has been added show since the 3:00 PM show is almost sold out. Tickets are on sale and you can find the schedule and ticket information on the website.

The Flat Rock Cinema is "your affordable, locally owned clean and friendly bistro cinema, featuring great food, cocktails and local brews."  Doors open 40 minutes before show time. Arriving at least 20 to 30 minutes prior to show time is recommended if you plan to dine or if you have a group of three or more and want to sit together. Reservations are also recommended for popular films, especially for weekends and holidays by calling (828) 697-2463. All tickets, all days, all times, all ages are $8.75. (Price includes new NC sales tax effective January 1, 2014)

Veterans' Day Special at The Flat Rock Cinema

November 11 - The Flat Rock Cinema is saying a heartfelt thanks to Veterans  with free popcorn and a free drink on Veterans Day.  The Big Year,  with Steve Martin, Owen Wilson and Jack Black, begins on 11-11-11 with shows at 4 PM and 7 PM.  Three obsessive bird watchers compete to spot and record the highest number of species in 1998-when El Nino brought an unprecedented number of species to North America. During their competition, they come to realize that winning isn't everything.
