This festival environment includes craft booths, live music and family fun. From 11 AM - 3 PM sample chili from some of the best cooks in the area and enjoy local musicians, arts and crafts. Highlands hosts Annual Chili Cook-off this weekend
March 10, 6:30-9:30 PM Highlands Annual Chili Cook-off: Held at the Highlands Community Building. If you would like to enter as a competitor and fire up your best chili recipe, bake your best batch of cornbread, or or your family's secret salsa recipe, call 828-526-5841 - space is limitedt. Prizes will be awarded for The Hottest, Most Traditional, Most Unique, and Best Table Presentation, plus for Best Cornbread and Best Salsa.
