Macon County Fair Opens this week in Franklin NC

September 14 - 17, 2016    Annual Macon County Fair   An authentic agricultural fair featuring crafts, farm animals and festival foods.

The Fair is held on the Macon County Fair Grounds in Franklin NC. 

Enjoy a BBQ Supper, Best Cake Contest, Special Needs Livestock Show, Harvest Sale, Pedal Tractor Contest, Festival Foods and so much more. 

The Fair is sponsored by Macon County Horse Association. 

NC Mountain Fairs this Weekend

October 1 - 5
NC City: CHEROKEE
Event: 101th Annual Cherokee Indian Fair Part carnival, part art exhibit and agriculture show, this annual fair features artwork, traditional Cherokee food, nightly musical entertainment, rides and games, and of course, fireworks. You’ll find Cherokee white oak baskets, pottery and beadwork, and you’ll marvel and the traditional Cherokee contests and competitions like the infamous Cherokee Stickball games. While you’re on the Ferris wheel, be sure to take in the gorgeous fall foliage that engulfs the Great Smoky Mountains this time of year.

Event: Madison County Fair Fair events include; rides, produce and cooking competitions, livestock competitions, special contests and exhibits. 4-H certified livestock and horse shows. Create some memories similar to the ones you have from growing up and going to the Fair with your family. Carnival rides are there for the delight of all as well as craft booth and food vendors. But, the most fun is viewing the competitions of livestock and all the other categories ranging from baking to photography.

NC Leaf Season Event: Wilkes County Agricultural Fair begins this week

October  11-15  Wilkes County Agricultural Fair Special features include petting zoo, agricultural exhibits, plus music & entertainment on different nights. Tuesday through Saturday. Students get in FREE Tuesday. Wilkes County 4-H present special activities Tuesday! Fair sponsored annually by the North Wilkesboro Rotary Club, begins Tuesday and ends on Saturday.

Macon County Agricultural Fair opens today in Franklin

Sept 15 - 18 56th Annual Macon County Agricultural Fair for the 56th year of authentic agricultural fair events featuring crafts, farm animals and festival foods. This is everything a County Fair should be with  the dull range of farm animals, educational exhibits, craft and food demonstrations, special contests and youth and senior activities. Located at the Wayne Proffitt Agricultural Center in Franklin NC.
