Welcome Spring with Foodie Events and Restaurant Specials in Waynesville NC

March 26, 2015 with additional weekend events through March 29   Melange of the Mountains    5 PM - 7 PM. Chef participants will prepare tastings of their favorite recipes and showcase or compete for recognition and awards. 

The gala evening event will extend into a weekend itinerary filled with an array of specialty dinners, culinary demos, and tastings hosted by Melange of the Mountains participants. Events such as Farm to Table, Hops to Tap, Sip and Stroke, dinner on the Mountain, Champagne & Caviar, Five Course Candlelight Dinner, Wine Pairings will take place throughout the county. 

Admission: Tickets are $35 for Chamber Members, $40 for Non Chamber Members, $60 for VIP ticket upgrade. The opening event is held at Laurel Ridge Country Club, 788 Eagles Nest Road in Waynesville NC. Dinners and weekend events are held at various locations throughout Waynesville and Haywood County.

The Classic Wineseller, 20 Church Street in downtown Waynesville NC, will be participating in the 2014 Melange in the Mountains with the following events:


DAILY WINE TASTINGS

April 10 - The Dupont Brothers perform beginning at 7 PM. Enjoy Vermont-made folk, rock Americana.

April 11, 7 PM enjoy Ben Wilson vocals and guitar with hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

April 12 at 7 PM Joe Cruz performs vocals and piano hits from the Beatles and Elton John.

April 13 from 11:30 to 2 PM Gospel Sunday Brunch will fill your tummy and your soul. Rockwell Scot performs with vocals and piano. $18.99 per person.

$10 minimum purchase per person either retail or restaurant.

A Culinary Weekend in the Mountains

April 10 -13   Melange of the Mountains Culinary Gala   Experience the culinary talent of some of Western North Carolina's most well regarded Restaurants and Vendors. Attendees are invited to sample delicious items directly from the menus of area Restaurants and to feast their eyes on expertly plated specialties entered in the competition. Coffee, beer and wine will also be available for sampling.

The event kicks off with a gala evening at Laurel Ridge County Club with participating chefs and restaurants preparing tastings of their favorite recipes, showcasing or competing for recognition and awards. Weekend events such as Farm to Table, Hops to Tap, Sip and Stroke, Dinner on the Mountain, Champagne and Caviar, Five Course Candlelight Dinner, Wine Pairings will take place throughout Haywood County.
