Maggie Valley hosts Southeastern Mini Truckin' Nationals

April 28 - May 1  - Southeastern Mini Truckin' Nationals Open Car Show with spectators welcome. Hundreds of mini trucks compete for Top 50 with 12 Specialty Awards and Best of Show. Mountain Thunder Car Show tomorrow in Old Fort

Old Fort Cruise-Ins are now held on the 3rd Saturday of each month, weather permitting. The event is held on Railroad Strett at the Gazebo in "Downtown" Old Fort.

Hot Rods and Classic Cars this weekend in Cherokee NC

November 4-6     Cruise the Smokies Fall Cherokee Rod Run   The fall Rod Run is a combination of the most scenic drive in North Carolina and more than 800 of the nation's hottest looking classic cars. More than 3,000 car enthusiasts will turn out for the Southeast's premiere Rod Run at the Acquoni Expo Center.


The much anticipated, Cruise the Smokies Fall Cherokee Rod Run 
features an active vendor area, swap meet, and daily entertainment - an event the entire family will enjoy. The Rod Run is sponsored by Andy Shaw Ford, with representatives on hand  to answer automotive questions, provide "how to" demonstrations, give away free items, and more!

Gates will be open from 9 AM to 5 PM. on Friday and Saturday, and 9 AM. until noon on Sunday. Spectator admission is $10 each day of the event and is free for children age six and under. Registration for the event is open to pre-1972 vehicles or highly modified late model vehicles. Vehicle registration is $35 at the event.  Registered vehicles are eligible to win cash prizes!

October 14-16    CHEROKEE   Big Rigs Antique Truck Show   Big rigs and antique trucks rumble into Cherokee October 14-16 for the 6th Annual Big Rigs and Antique Trucks Show, where truck enthusiasts of all types gather to show off their custom and original truck restorations, trade stories and ideas, compete for prizes and raise money for The Hope Chest for Women, which provides educational resources and limited financial assistance to women in Western North Carolina with breast and gynecologic cancer. October 4 - 16   MAGGIE VALLEY   3rd Annual "Vairs in the Valley   Corvair Car/Truck Show featuring all models and years (1960 - 1969) of one of the most unique vehicles ever built by Chevrolet. The show is sponsored by North Carolina Mountain Corvair Club and the North Carolina Chapter of the Corvair Society of America (CORSA). Friday night 50th Birthday celebration for the 1962 Convertible, Monza Spyder and Fitch Sprint.  Saturday People's Choice Car show, Corvair Valve Cover Races, Corvair Games and Door prize drawings.
