Dec 17   CHEROKEE   A Holiday Homecoming   at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Oconaluftee Visitor Center in Cherokee. From 10 am - 1 pm there will be demonstrations of old-fashioned crafts, live music, refreshments, and walking tours. Make a corn shuck doll, buzz button, and cinnamon ornaments. Dec 18   ASHEVILLE   USDAA Dog Agility Trials  The Blue Ridge Agility Club of Western North Carolina will host a United States Dog Agility Association (USDAA) agility trial. Spectators are welcomed to attend and admission is free.
