Do You Love a Parade? The NC Mountains are full of Christmas Parades this Weekend

December 3    Annual Christmas Parade    The parade begins at 1 p.m. at the intersection of North Main Street and Dula Springs Road, travels through downtown Weaverville, and ends at the intersection of South Main and Yost Streets.  Join us on Main Street along with local bands, floats, marching units, local dignitaries and of course Santa.  Weaverville NC

December 3     Hendersonville Christmas Parade   The annual Hendersonville Christmas Parade travels along Main Street from Five Points to Caswell Street. Enjoy the sights and sounds of bands playing, clowns, floats and of course Santa Claus.  Hendersonville NC

December 3    The Town of Columbus Christmas Parade   Columbus' 2011 Christmas Parade begins at 4 pm. If you are standing anywhere between Park Street and Food Lion on Highway 108/Mills St., you will be able to see the 60 plus units in this parade and welcome Santa Claus!  Columbus NC

December 3      Old Fort Christmas Parade   "Country Christmas" themed parade starting at 4:00 PM.  Davidson's Historic Fort Park is participating this year along with local car clubs and more. Park downtown, visit the local Old Fort Art Show in the Old Fort Depot and Railroad Museum between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm before heading out to enjoy the parade.  Old Fort NC
