Maggie Valley Moonlight Race this Weekend

August 24-25     31st Maggie Valley Moonlight Race   Pre and post race activities will take place inside the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds. This is the resurrection of a true destination race and a terrific opportunity for a vacation in one of America's most scenic regions. Run this race, enjoy the panoramic majesty of the Great Smoky Mountains, and hit the trails and the whitewater.

Online registration is now closed but Onsite registration will be held on Friday, 3:00-6:00 PM, and Saturday, 2:00-8:00 PM at the Maggie Valley Fairgrounds.

The Sunset Fun Run is our newest event at the Maggie Valley Moonlight Run and is open to anyone but geared toward kids and older adults who don’t want to run or walk the 8K.  The cost is $5 per person and you may register  under the large tent on Friday or Saturday at the Fairgrounds.  Each participant will receive a bib that should be worn on their front and will have bottled water at the finish line.
The course goes around the perimeter of the Fairgrounds, counter-clockwise, following the fence.  The “race” will start near the entrance and finish near the stage for a .4 mile course. Those who are running the 8K and would like to run with their kids or family members for this event can do so free of charge but must wear their 8K bib to identify themselves.
