Chubby Checker tonight at Harrah's in Cherokee

August 20 at 7:30 PM Harrah's Cherokee presents Chubby Checker, the King of the Twist. Checker has been twistin' the night away for over 3 and a half decades, experiencing a recent resurgence in popularity with "Knock Down the Walls" topping the charts in 2007. His signature hit, “The Twist”, was the #1 song on the charts once in 1960, and again in 1961 – the only song ever to achieve this feat.

The National Scenic Byways Program is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration.
