Thanksgiving Day Weekend Event: Family Festival at Fontana Village

November 20 - November 27 Thanksgiving Family Festival at Fontana Village Celebrate Thanksgiving in the Great Smoky Mountains. Enjoy a classic Thanksgiving dinner at Mountview Restaurant on Thursday, November 22.

The holiday weekend events include guided hikes in the forest, Appalachian square dancing, live music, hayrides and marshmallow roasts round the campfire, target shooting contests, zip-line tours, a holiday tree trimming party and more. Fontana Village Resort is offering lodge rooms for $69.00 per night and cabin rentals for 25% off on two nights or more during Thanksgiving week.

The National Scenic Byways Program is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration. The program is a grass-roots collaborative effort established to help recognize, preserve and enhance selected roads throughout the United States.
