The recent cold snap has allowed NC Slopes to do more snowmaking and extend the viable ski season for another couple of weeks. Cataloochee, Appalachain, Beech Mountain and Sugar Mountain are all still open and ready for the last skiing and tubing of the 2011-2012 season.
