Cataloochee has averaged 119 days of skiing and riding per season over the last seven years. This kind of statistic would be more commonly expected from areas further north or west, not from one of the Southernmost ski areas in the country. During the 2011-12 season lasting 110 days, Cataloochee weekday/night passholders had the opportunity to ski or ride with for a total of 74 days and 83 nights.

A refundable $250 deposit is required and all you have to do is return the equipment prior to April 1, 2013, to get your deposit back. It's a simple and convenient way to get new equipment each season or to outfit growing kids.
