Trick or Treat? It's mostly treats at Penland this time of year, though you might pick up a few tricks-of-the trade in the studios. Still, we don't mind spooking ourselves with a few stories like the haunting of Horner Hall, the legend of Lucy Morgan's magic loom, or the tale of the headless potter. Join us around the campfire for the second half of fall concentration and beyond... if you dare! (Mwah hah hah hah!) You bring the candy corn and we'll supply the cider. There's no costume required, but you'll want to bring some warm clothes and sturdy shoes, your curiosity, love of learning, and a passion for art and craft.
