Earth Day Celebration at Camp Lake James

This Saturday, April 16, we will celebrate Earth Day at Camp Lake James with an array of activities that range from educational to relaxing to just downright delicious. The day's activities include:
Lunch from 12 - 1 p.m.
The Social Hall will feature food art created by our staff and a special lunch menu that includes salads with salmon, chicken and steak. Kids will have plenty of options, too.

Kids Camp from 1 - 3 p.m.
To give the adults a little quiet time, our staff will host a kid's camp featuring the habitats of the native birds of Lake James. Parents can kick back while kids explore.

Cheesecake and Wine Tasting from 1 - 3 p.m.
While the kids are away, adults are invited to organic wines in the Social Hall and enjoy a slice of cheesecake from an award-winning local bakery.

Birds of Prey from 3:30 - 5 p.m.
We'll wrap up our celebration in the amphitheater for a birds of prey demonstration by the Blue Ridge Wildlife Institute with owls, hawks, and falcons.

Make Reservations:  This is a member event, but there are limited opportunities for public participation. The event costs $10 per adult and $6 per child and covers all activities & food. If you're interested please contact a member of the Lake James sales team at (866) 375-0065.
