Hendersonville Street Dance

August 12   Street Dances   Hendersonville's Street Dances have been a tradition for 92 years. The Street Dances features mountain heritage music and dance on Monday evening during the summer. Bring a chair and sit back, relax and enjoy mountain heritage music and dancing from 7:00-9:00PM. Seating area opens after 5:30.

Waynesville Street Dance includes Folkmoot USA

July 20   Mountain Street Dance  Put on your cloggin' and square dancin' shoes and enjoy an old-fashioned mountain hoedown in downtown Waynesville. Live mountain music, demonstrations and instruction by local clogging teams. Refreshments are available for purchase. Limited bleacher seating available so feel free to bring a chair or blanket for the Courthouse lawn.

This night includes
the renowned Folkmoot performers at the Street Dance as a part of Folkmoot USA 2012.

They're Dancing in the Street!

July 22    MOUNTAIN STREET DANCES   Downtown Waynesville is Alive at Night. Put on your cloggin' & square dancin' shoes and enjoy an old-fashioned mountain hoe down! Live mountain music, demonstrations and instruction by local clogging teams. Refreshments will be available. The event is held in front of the historic Haywood County Courthouse from 6:30-9p PM.
