Inspired by the true story, "Million Dollar Quartet" dramatizes the impromptu jam session featuring Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash and include the hit songs "Blue Suede Shoes," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Great Balls of Fire," "Hound Dog," "Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On" and many more.

"Fly" Opens this Week at the Flat Rock Playhouse Telling the Story of the Tuskegee Airmen

September 10 - 27, 2015 The Flat Rock Playhouse   presents "Fly".  An important and inspiring story about the experiences  and challenges of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African American flyers in the U.S. military during World War II. 

Hailing from Chicago, Harlem, rural Iowa, and the Caribbean each arrive at boot camp with a dream to serve their country as combat fighter pilots. But they find that they must first combat racism and prejudice in the very military they have volunteered to serve.

"Evita" Opens this Week at The Flat Rock Playhouse

June 5 - 30   The Flat Rock Playhouse Presents Evita    Evita tells Eva Peron's passionate and unforgettable true story, and features some of theater's most beautiful songs, including "Don't Cry for Me Argentina," "Another Suitcase in Another Hall" and "High Flying, Adored."

Performances will be Wednesday through Saturday at 8:00 pm; matinees Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 pm. All tickets are $40 and can be purchased by calling the Playhouse box office at 828-693-0731, toll-free at 866-732-8008 or online. Discounts available for seniors, AAA members, military personnel, students and groups.

"The Spitfire Grill" Opens this Week at the Flat Rock Playhouse

May 30 - June 24  Flat Rock Playhouse Presents "The Spitfire Grill" Based on the award-winning film by Lee David Zlotoff, this new American musical, with a score tinged with Bluegrass and Folk, is unlike any before it. Evening performances are Wed-Sat 8:00 at PM, and Matinees are Wed, Thurs, Sat & Sun at 2:00PM.
