Smoky Mountain Oyster & Seafood Festival
This one day event,
held at the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds,
boasts all types of oysters, fried, steamed and
raw by the dozen or half dozen, as well as fried
or steamed shrimp by the pound or half pound,
shrimp and grits and a low country boil platter.
Food will be prepared by J. Arthur's Restaurant
in Maggie Valley. There will non-seafood items
as well. Live music from Mile High Band
and Steve Weams and the Caribbean Cowboys and a
free kid's zone will round out the day.
Admission is $5 in advance, $8 at the gate.
