Events at John C Campbell Folk School: The Wilson
Family from Brasstown has been singing as a group for about nine years.
Jimmy Wilson grew up around traditional gospel music, listening to his father
and uncle, The Wilson Brothers, winners of a North Carolina Heritage Award.
Jimmy sings lead and harmony and plays guitar. His wife, Karen Wilson sings lead
and harmony and plays bass. Their daughters Jessica and Anna both sing lead and
harmony while playing mandolin and guitar respectively
. 7 PM - FREE admission, but DONATIONS

Folk School Festival with over 200 Artists
October 5- John C Campbell Folk School Fall Festival Celebrate the rich heritage of Appalachia at the 40th annual Folk School Fall Festival, featuring over 200 juried and non-juried craftspeople.
Handcrafted items for sale include jewelry, woodturning, pottery, weaving, ironwork, photography, rugs, woodcarvings, furniture, paintings, baskets, and much more. Live music and dance on two stages, great food, craft demonstrations, and kids' activities are just a few more reasons why the John C. Easter Event: Annual Easter Egg Hunt at John C Campbell Folk School
March 30 John C Campbell Folk School Easter Egg Hunt Bring your little ones to the Open House at 12:45 PM, as the free Easter Egg Hunt begins promptly at 1 PM. Both Adults and children will enjoy live music during the event.
When you arrive, bring your little egg hunters to one of three areas, divided by age: 0-4 years, 5-7 years, and 8 years and older. Please park in the gravel lot across from the Keith House. This provides the egg hunters with plenty of space along with a safety zone.
