Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show Hunter - Jumper Division

July 30 - August 4   Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show   Hunter Jumper II. The Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show is one of the oldest horse show events in the country and has been a Blowing Rock tradition since 1923. 

The Show is held on The L. M. Tate Horse Show Grounds, at the Blowing Rock Equestrian Preserve located in the mountain splendor of Western North Carolina’s Moses Cone Memorial Park, the Pisgah National Forest, and one mile from historic Blowing Rock, North Carolina. 

A variety of food options on the grounds and a unique collection of vendors provide an unforgettable shopping experience. Items such as jewelry, clothing, gift items, beautiful photographs and original one-of-a-kind paintings (some completed as you watch) are elegantly displayed by serious quality-minded merchants and craftsmen.

The Horse Show is considered one of the “Highlight of Blowing Rock’s Summer Season”. You will enjoy this grand Blowing Rock tradition. Surrounded by the Cone’s favorite place on earth, at the historic horse show grounds in Mayview, you can enjoy the spectacular display of the finest show horses in the country as they chase the silk and silver of the “Oldest Continuous Outdoor Horse Show In America”.

Whether you enjoy a single day or the entire three weeks, all spectators are welcome. You can enjoy the show from the famous grandstand, from your own special box seat or along the rail at the In Gate.
