Earth Day Events at Chimney Rock State Park
Recycle, reduce, and reuse at the park and home this Earth Day!   REUSE your park map to create a unique tree from RECYCLED materials. Help REDUCE the resources needed to make a free souvenir from Chimney Rock State Park on this Earth Day.

A Park Ranger will discuss items that are collected at the park for recycling and other efforts in the park to reduce resources used. These same earth friendly behaviors are easy to do at home. We will talk about products made from trees and learn which ones we can reuse or recycle. Visitors, especially youth, are encouraged to make a Chimney Rock Earth Day Tree from reused park maps and recycled materials. Meet us at the Old Rock Café riverside deck at 11 AM.
