The Capital Steps Perform at The Flat Rock Playhouse

September 14-25 FLAT ROCK The Flat Rock Theatre hosts "The Capital Steps"  One of America's favorite political satire Performers, The Capital Steps have recorded over 30 albums, bipartisan political fun and good old-fashioned American satire.

The Capitol Steps began in December of 1981 when a group of Senate staffers set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them. Their first idea was to stage a nativity play, but in the whole Congress they couldn't find three wise men or a virgin. So, they decided to dig into the headlines of the day, and they created song parodies & skits which conveyed a special brand of satirical humor.
