The Art of a Great Vacation

This summer, spend a week at the John C Campbell Folk School, where you'll be renewed by the lush beauty of the landscape, refreshed by crisp mountain air, and re-energized by working with your hands and learning traditional skills.

At the Folk School, you could be learning to make cheese, crafting a traditional mountain rocker, creating pine needle baskets, or making your own books. From Basketry to Writing, you can choose from over 860 weeklong and weekend classes each year in a broad variety of areas. There are so many great reasons to spend your leisure time at the Folk School this summer!  Get a complete listing of classes here...
